Lynette Berg Robe, APCCertified Family Law Specialist

California Board of Legal Specialization
of the State Bar of California

What Makes Us Unique?

At the Law Offices of Lynette Berg Robe, APC, we are committed to providing high-quality,ethical, and personalized service to clients. Lynette Berg Robe is a Certified Family Law Specialist (certified by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California). As such, she offers legal services in all areas of marital dissolution, parentage cases, domestic partnerships and premarital and other agreements. Lynette Berg Robe places a strong emphasis on resolving cases by settlement whenever possible by consensual dispute resolution methods, including mediation and collaborative law. Some cases, unfortunately, resist settlement or require some court process before settlement can be achieved. When she is not able to bring about a settlement, Ms. Robe provides effective and capable representation in court.

Throughout the years, Ms. Robe has helped clients deal with the toll that a separation or divorce has on a family from their living situation and custody of their children to their cash flow and property ownership. An advisor trained in family law procedures and cognizant of how fragile relationships are can be most helpful in these situations. The Law Offices of Lynette Berg Robe acts as the calming force —their clients’ advocate throughout the divorce process.

Experience Counts

An experienced mediator, Ms. Robe has mediated scores of cases successfully over the past two decades. Her cases have involved a wide range of clients, including high profile cases. In the process of mediation, Ms. Robe acts as a neutral third party who helps facilitate a mutually acceptable settlement of the issues in dispute. The parties may come alone or accompanied by their attorneys. Mediation offers private and efficient resolution of a case according to the client’s timetable, rather than the court’s. Mediation also provides for rational and peaceful problem solving. The mediation process encourages trust and respect between the parties and promotes resolution of their dispute with minimal conflict. In addition to mediating litigated matters, she has mediated premarital, cohabitation, and postmarital agreements and estate plans as well. She also serves as a consulting attorney to clients going through mediation.

In addition, Ms. Robe is trained in Collaborative Law and offers that option to clients as well.

Both mediation and Collaborative Family Law have the potential benefit of minimizing the costs for the clients.
